We are sharing a statement to the professions from Sam Foster, Executive Nurse Director of Professional Practice, NMC regarding the recent riots, racism and disorder.
The purpose of the statement is to help professionals on the NMC register in their decision making at this time. Specifically, it explains what professionals and students need to know about refusing care when subjected to any form of violence or aggression, and tackling racism and disorder.
