Gary Cousins has joined the NIPEC team. Gary qualified as a registered nurse in 2006 working in the Royal Victoria Hospital Thoracic Surgery Unit. Gary moved to the Care Home sector in 2010, initially as a Deputy Care Home Manager before progressing to various senior roles including Infection Prevention and Control Lead and most recently Operations Manager in Beaumont Care Homes. From 2018-2020 Gary was seconded to the Public Health Agency, working as Nurse Consultant for Care Homes, supporting the regional transformation strategy.
In welcoming Gary to NIPEC, Linda Kelly, Chief Executive commented:
