NIPEC Communities of Practice (CoP) provide opportunities to learn, share and connect.
What is a Community of Practice (CoP)
A CoP is a group of people who share a concern or passion for something they do and learn how to do it better as they interact regularly. Our NIPEC CoPs are networks of professionals that share common goals and interests. The CoPs can be sources of knowledge, learning and support.
We have a Senior Nursing and Midwifery CoP and Learning Disability CoPs.
Senior Nursing and Midwifery Community of Practice (CoP)
The Senior Nursing and Midwifery CoP is focusing energising pride in our professions empowering nurses and midwives to flourish and thrive as leaders, providing excellence in their care in order to create healthy cultures. The CoP has been examining the value of nursing and midwifery as real professions and recognising where we are now. Considering how we can be visible and present at all strategic tables.
