The NIPEC Council has to-date received at each meeting a copy of the ‘NIPEC Assurance Framework: Corporate Risks’ for the year; this presents the current position against the high level risks, as derived from the current corporate business objectives, and uses the ‘RAG’ method for identification of progress.
The Audit and Risk Committee also receives, at each meeting, a copy of this high level risk register, together with a copy of the NIPEC ‘Operational Risk Register’.
However, following an agreed recommendation from the Internal Auditor, NIPEC will from the 1 April 2017 produce one ‘Corporate Risk Register’ and will be inputted monthly onto the NIPEC website.
