Senior Professional Officer
Geraldine McKendry has been a Registered Mental Health Nurse since 1990. Over the course of her career has completed her BSC (Hons) in Professional Nursing Practice and Specialist Practice in Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapy, Post graduate Study in; Clinical Supervision for Supervisors in Psychotherapy, Trauma and a Post Graduate Diploma in Health and Social Care Management. Geraldine has recently graduated from the Regional QI Social Work, Nursing & Midwifery Programme 2024.
Geraldine has worked in a variety of mental health nursing roles, predominately in Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapy and including operational Service Manager roles, across; Primary Care, Secondary Care, Specialist Services and Unscheduled Acute Mental Health Care. Geraldine joined NIPEC in 2022 and is working as a Senior Professional Officer.
Geraldine the mum of three adult sons and a dog mum to a gorgeous Miniature Schnauzer, Maya.
