Senior Communications Officer
Tracey is currently on secondment to NIPEC as Senior Communications Officer. Prior to the secondment, Tracey was Communications and Engagement Lead in HSCQI. Tracey provides strategic communication expertise to NIPEC. Tracey has responsibility for the development and management of a range of communications and engagement initiatives that help support the delivery of NIPEC’s Corporate plan.
Bringing extensive private/public sector communications, marketing and public relations experience to NIPEC, Tracey thrives on developing communications to improve engagement across HSC and beyond. Tracey is a member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) and has led award-winning public-sector teams to achieve regional accolades, including NI Public Sector Communications Team of the Year and In-House PR Team of the Year in NI CIPR Awards.
During Covid, Tracey had several redeployments from HSCQI to NI Contact Tracing, Health Silver Communications Cell and the PHA Communication Team. Whilst in HSCQI Tracey led on the development of HSCQI Network Communications and Engagement Strategy.
Tracey graduated June 2023 as a Scottish Improvement Leader, is a Q Community Member and is a graduate of the Q NetWeaver Course, which explored tools and techniques to influence effective networks.
