Frances McNicholl
Frances joined NIPEC in September 2024 as a Project Support Officer. Her primary role is to provide administrative and project support to the Senior Professional Officers.
Frances graduated from Queen’s University Belfast in 2009 with a B.Sc in Geography following which she obtained an M.Sc in Environmental Planning (2010).
Frances began her HSC career in the former Health and Social Care Board, (HSCB) in 2011 on the Graduate Intern Scheme. During her time within the HSCB, Frances worked within the Directorates of Corporate Services and Performance Management Service Improvement, holding the positions of Governance Officer, Complaints Officer and Project Lead for Complaints/Litigation and Business Continuity. As part of the COVID-19 response, Frances provided administrative support to Health Silver’s response during the pandemic, ensuring timely and accurate information flows from HSC Trusts to Department of Health colleagues. In 2022 Frances was appointed to Assistant Emergency Planning/Business Continuity Manager, for the Strategic Planning and Performance Group, (SPPG). Frances brings a wealth of experience in project support and management to her position at NIPEC.
