This tool has been developed by the Infection Prevention Society, and has been designed to help IPC practitioners with their progress and development.
You can use this Competence Assessment Tool to look at the competence statements in the relevant domains and competency areas and assess yourself against as many of the statements as you wish. You do not have to complete your self-assessment all at once.
It is helpful if you discuss your self assessment with your Line Manager/Supervisor before completing it.
