Career Framework for Diabetes (Adult) Specialist Practice Nursing Roles

This is a Sub-Group of the Career Framework for Specialist Practice Nursing Roles Steering Group. Rose McHugh, Public Health Agency, is Chair of the Sub-Group and the remit of the Group is to develop a career framework for Diabetes Specialist Practice Nursing (Adult) Role.

The first meeting of the sub-group took place on Wednesday, 7 December 2016 at 10.30 am and a small Development Group has been established to review the TREND UK, 4th Edition, an Integrated Career and Competency Framework for Diabetes Nursing (2015) and agree the core competencies for Diabetes Nurses in Acute and Community settings. These will be tested in HSC Trusts with all the key stakeholders.

The members of the small Development Group are:
